Hanuman started the search for “Sanjivani Bhooti” in the north direction towards the Himalayas. While flying over Jakhoo Mountain, Hanuman noticed a few Sages, and he landed there to seek their help. The Sages informed Hanuman of the exact location of the “Sanjeevani Bhooti” on the Dunagiri mountain.

Without taking any rest, Hanuman continued his journey and promised Sage to come back on the return journey. However, it took a long time for Hanuman to find the “Sanjeevai Bhooti” and directly return to Lanka to save Lakshmana’s life. Later on, to fulfil his promise, Lord Hanuman turned up in the form of a Swayambhu idol in the Jakhu.
