  1. Idol or Image of Lord Hanuman: Obtain a small idol or image of Lord Hanuman, preferably made of metal (Brass or Copper) or stone, for the puja. 
  2. Puja Altar ( Deo Ghar or Chowrang ) : Set up a clean and sacred space for the puja, facing east or northeast direction. Place a clean cloth preferably in Red colour on the altar to serve as a base for the puja items. A decorative rangoli surrounding the puja altar would enhance the altar decoration.
  3. Incense Sticks (Agarbatti): Light incense sticks to create a fragrant atmosphere and invoke divine presence. An aromatic Chandan ( Sandalwood ) dhoop can also be used.
  4. Lamp (Diya): Light a lamp filled with desi cow ghee or oil as a symbol of illumination and divine light. In addition to lamp some quantity of Bhimseni Camphor (Kapoor) is also needed for puja.
  5. Flowers: Offer fresh flowers, preferably marigold or red flowers, to the deity as a symbol of devotion and purity.
  6. Fruits: Any seasonal fruits such as bananas, apples, and oranges as a symbol of abundance and offering to Lord Hanuman. A fresh coconut is also required as offering.
