Shri Dhirendra Krishna Shastri ji belongs to a very poor Brahmin family. He often does not hesitate to share the financial difficulties he and his family had to suffer. His Dadaji (grandfather) used to function as a pandit or pujari in the village.
However, the earnings of his Dadaji were not enough to lead a comfortable lifestyle. As stated by Shri Dhirendra ji his family had to suffer a lot, and he had to face the trials and tribulations of life as a child.

Despite these tough conditions, Shri Dhirendra Shastri ji continued his formal education as well as the study of Sanatana Dharma and religious scriptures. His Dadaji was a ardent Hanuman devotee. He was also blessed with Hanuman Krupa with divine powers.
However, his Dadaji (Sadhu ji) never used such divine powers for any commercial gain. Shri Dhirendra Shastri has shared many times during his Divya Darbar that divine power to analyze the devotee’s situation and problems is basically the blessing of Lord Balaji Hanuman.

What is Divya Darbar In Bageshwar Dham ?
A large number of Hanuman devotees visit Bageshwar Dham to meet Shri Dhirendra Shastri (Guruji) to seek Hanuman blessings and Krupa. However, it is practically not possible for Bageshwar Dham Sarkar (Guruji) to personally meet all the devotees and listen to their problems. However, the Bageshwar Dham administration organises regular events called “Divya Darbar”.
In simple terms, “Divya Darbar” is a religious event, and “Pravachan”. It is a type of religious gathering addressed by Dham Pithadhish Shri Dhirendra Shastri (Guruji). During the Divya Darbar, Bageshwar Dham Sarkar personally meets and interacts with the few selected devotees to discuss their specific problems.
The selection of the devotee who gets the opportunity to interact with Guruji is done through a special application system called “Arji”. Due to practical and time limitations, only a few “Arji” are addressed and resolved by the Guruji during “Divya Darbar”.

How An Arji System Works In Bageshwar Dham ?
Bageshwar Dham Balaji Hanuman Temple is a very special place for millions of people across the world. The Dham daily witnesses the turnout of many people and devotees.
Divya Darbar is a regular event regularly organised by the Dham administration. It is intended to facilitate and organise devotees’ personal interactions and meetings with the Dham Pithadhish Shri Dhirendra Shastri. However, the devotee must apply for such a meeting through a system called “Arji,” which simply means an application, a prayer, or a request.
However, the Arji system works quite differently. In order to meet Shri Dhirendra Shastri during the Divya Darbar, the interested devotee must submit an arji with the help of a coconut and five cloves covered with a red cloth. This Arji coconut offering is then placed and tied at a specific place outside Dham Balaji Hanuman Temple.
It is not required for a devotee to write his name on the Arji coconut offering. Bageshwar Dham Guruji Shri Dhirendra Shastri is divinely prompted by Shri Sanyasi Baba to select a few Arji during Divya Darbar.
Guruji, with the divine blessings of Balaji Hanuman and Sanyasi Baba, writes all the details of the devotee, including his problem, for which the devotee has sent Arji. Guruji creates and writes all these details on a parcha (case paper) with the help of his divine powers.
On many occasions, Guruji has successfully demonstrated this divine power with the blessings of Lord Balaji Hanuman.

Biography Of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri
Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is the current head (Peethadhish) or head priest of Bageshwar Dham Balaji Hanuman Temple in Chhatarpur District of State Madhya Pradesh. His full name is Dhirendra Krishna Garg. He is also commonly referred to as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, or Maharaj.
Dhirendra Shastri was born on July 4, 1996, in the village of Gada in Chhatarpur district in the state of Madhya Pradesh. He was the eldest of two children, Saroj Garg (mother) and Ram Kripal Garg (father).
Dhirendra Shastri was brought up in a Hindu Saryupareen Brahmin family, and his father works as a priest. During those days, his father’s earnings as a priest were not sufficient to lead a comfortable lifestyle.
As such, the Shastri family had to face a tough life and economic hardship. Dhirendra Shastri had to face extreme poverty during his childhood. His family lived in a very small village house. As a child, he also started his career as a pujari, or priest, and continued the family tradition pursued by his father and gradfather, Shri Dadaji Sanyasibaba.
Dhirendra Shastri is serving as a Peethadhishwar and chief of Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, which is a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Hanuman in Gada village in Chattarpur District, Madhya Pradesh. He is the third generation Head Priest of Bageshwar Balaji Hanuman Temple, serving as the chief of the dham, after his grandfather Sanyasibaba and father.
Dhirendra Shastri Guruji organises a religious gathering of devotees called “Divya Darbar” at Bageshwar Dham every Tuesday and Saturday. As word spread about his divine powers, a large number of devotees regularly visited Bageshwar Dham Balaji Hanuman temple every day to attend Divya Darbar.
